I have been going to Sleeping bear since i was 2 and I know they never let vehicles on there ever. Only time I have ever seen a truck out there it was a NPS truck in the middle of the winter and the they were doing survey work on the dunes movement from 2 years before hand. We had a nice talk to the Rangers doing the work.

OK,,,,,,,,just how old {young} are you????? things change ya know,

[there once was no such thing as global warming, just a natural cycle of ice-ages followed by long periods of melting ice]
especially when government gets involved.
