Default 1983 CB650SC Carb Sync pilot screw question.

I have the Carb sync tool on the way, and understand how to sync the carbs with the throttle adjustment screws, my question is what do i do with the pilot screw adjustment on the bottom of the carb?

Assuming they haven't been messed with, nothing. Sync the carbs first before you start messing with the pilot screws.

Did you rebuild the carbs? Float levels all set the same? Diaphragms good/not leaking?

I've never done the 650 carbs. I would guess pilot screws should be between 1.5 and 2 turns out from the factory. This link's got a manual for the 80' CB650...procedure should be similar:

I put them back where they were originally. Hooked up the carb sync tool, made a pretty big adjustment to carb #1, and a small tweak to 4 and she runs great now. Wish I would have known carb syncing was that easy.
