Thumbs up where to buy a built 48re trans for 2006 cummins

My 2006 48re trans is slipping time to rebuild. Any advice on where to buy a rebuilt trans or positive feedback on shops to go or call. Want to build it up a little but don't want to spend $6000 on my tow rig. Lol. Considering building myself too.

Bear Transmissions in Howell. he built my 4r100 and did an excellent job. He is retired GM worker who built GM Transmissions every day. he has Tons of experience with GM and there internals. Give him a call and talk to him on the phone. You will be able to tell he knows his shit!
He builds transmissions stock or high power and everything in the middle. Nice guy to deal with.

Bear- 517.404.7909

BTW he has a small shop at his house. this is not a big shop. turnover time is usually same week and he also can pull and install for a fee if you do not have the capabilities.

Tell him I sent you so he knows how you herd of him.

He also does a great job with dodge and ford being that thats what mine is.
