Default Tuff stuff, and vortex direct winches, anyone try them?

Alright, I'm looking at winches, cheap is fine if it works and has a warrenty, so I eBay searched and these two are what I really came up with...

Tuff stuff one looks decent, 9500lb 5.8HP, 216:1 gear reduction, and from what I read others say it works pretty well,

Vortex direct one is made by gorilla winch, 10,000lb also 5.8HP, 265:2:1 gear reduction, this one has a longer warrenty though...also had a good review,

Anyone use one of these winches before/currently? Both are less than 300 bucks.

Also does anyone know of a cheaper winch, over 8k that is a good brand for cheap? I'm not using it for more than pulling my Toyota out of a small pit or over rocks, more than likely pulling others out, but it mostly will be for "just in case"

Completely ok with 329 for a steel line, and it did score pretty well in the line up...

Yes, the S is for synthetic. I paid $405 for the 9000s shipped to my door.
