What length barrell, fixed choke or interchangeable chokes, wood or composite stock?

Have you considered an 11-87 or other semi-auto shotguns?

I would take an 1187, dont care. dont care about the stock much either, composite would be nice. Don't care what length, dont care about the chokes, just looking for a good semi auto that I can find parts for readily for standard woods carry.

I have converted saiga 12's, AR15's, 1911's, all the good stuff, but don't just have a beater gun and I got to thinking... why not? lol

I see that you don't care what you get in an 1100, but one thing you should be aware of is there are 1100's and then there are 1100 magnums that shoot 3-inch shells, that is one consideration you should think about, if you are looking at deer or turkey you may want to be specific and get an 1100 magnum, I have one but will only sell it after death.

FWIW, you can shoot 3" shells through a non magnum 1100 if you put a magnum barrel on it

This is true IF the receiver is changed over to a magnum configuration. The action bar sleeve is different from a 2 3/4" to 3" gun.

It's true either way. You don't need to change the action bar. I know a handful of people running magnum barrels on non-magnum receivers (myself included) who have had 0 issues with a lot of rounds through the gun. The only thing I changed was the barrel and I upgraded the action spring to a Wolff extra power.
