Default Super sexy 15kw standby generator. $400

Generac 4390 . 15kw on propane, 13kw on nat gas.

Sprinkler head was hitting it, rusty.

Engine works perfect.

sweet custom paint job, done by customer.

Makes voltage one day, not the other. I'm guessing $12 brushes and cleaning the slip rings will make her always make power. I DID A STATIC test on the rotor and stator, and it ohms out perfect, however it might have a short when it is running. Doubtful, but possible.

So, worst case scenerio, you have a bad rotor/stator. $700 for the pair.

Best case, brushes are fine, you clean the slip rings, and you enjoy your generator.

SOLD AS IS, NO WARRANTY. I will get you the parts at cost. I told the customer I would charge him $250 to rip the generator down to find out what is wrong, he wrote me a check for a new generator.

pickup in auburn hills.

Selling for the cost that I would net if I scrapped the stator and rotor and sold the used engine.

Pic shows open wiring on the right. I was doing testing on it when the customer told me to give him a new one. I have the cover and bolts.

sorry man, so busy, we are not even quoting new installs for a long long long time.

I can supply you with the product, not installation.

I figured you were really busy with that storm. Just get in touch with me soon or get me a number so he can contact you. He is mostly looking to get ideas of what he can do so he is protected next time power goes out. They want a mobile unit so he can take it to both locations if need be. Do you deal with Mobile units?
They will need something big their buildings are 11,200 sq ft each
They have 6 5 ton 3 phase AC units for each building.

Yeah. But give him a heads up he is talking $30k or so.

Standby units probably make more financial sense.

Yeah he has been looking. He is just thinking mobile because they have 2 locations now and will have 3-4 with in the next few years so he was thinking maybe getting a mobile unit rather than one stand by at each location. But what ever makes more sense. thats why I want to get him in touch with you so you can go over what options there are.

Thanks,
