Default trans / t-case combo's ?

Currently a 727 with an NP208. What other t-cases will match up without changing anything else?

Will the tranny output shaft have to be changed?

Will the trans-tcase adapter need changed?

Thanks.

what year truck is it out of? i would think a 205, d300...... should bolt up depending on your spline count

Anything with the round NP mounting pattern and the same spline count. D300, etc... That 208 should have fixed yokes - not really a bad case to have. Shorter than a 231, no slip yoke, and a beefier chain. Wrong drop for you?

I was looking for the 727 / 203 combo for a doubler set-up. The 203 is not a round pattern I know. Although this tranny might work in another vehicle that will not be a doubler set-up. Thanks for help.

they did put a 203 behind a 727 but i think it was a different main shaft in the trans.
