Default 97 PSD boost gauge doesn't work

I just bought my PSD it has a boost gauge made by glowshift, It reads with a vacuum hose. It is ran and T'ed into a vacuum line that comes off the Y pipe. The guy i bought it from says that the line from the gauge is to big??? seems weird to me

I had an autometer gauge and I T'd in a sensor farther over on the firewall towards the passenger side and never had any problems. Make sure you dont have any kinks in the line. If you think the line is too big go to the parts store and get a nylon hose kit and re run the line. Shouldnt take too long and they are like 10 bucks.

just my $0.02

Check for kinks or cracks in the hose. If the line is fine I would just get another gauge, Glowshift is a very inexpensive brand. I bought a set of Glowshift gauges and have had no trouble but it was only around $100 for the set so I wouldn't be surprised if one crapped out.
