Default can i get atitle / ohv sticker with bill of sale on quad

I bought a 2000 suzuki king quad for cheap an naturally figured it stolen..but had sherrifs department check vin and it came up clean ..now the last registered owner an current person i bought from arent the same so its been whored around on private sales..

Whats the first steps to getting ohv sticker registration and title.. thank u

The first and only step is to go to any sporting good store,bait shop,or even meijers. Tell you need to purchase a orv sticker. They will ask for your drivers liscence and nothing else.they dont care what the sticker goes on.
If you need a registration,go to secretery of state with vin number off of the steering stem part of the frame.The ss will try to contact the last registered owner,to make sure it's not stolen,with them unaware of it missing.They will then give you a registration if it has no bank lien on it. I dont think you can get a title because is was never meant for street use.

In michigan a Quad will have a title, don't know why you would really need it though.

I heard i need it to run state trails?..... guys story is he bought it on kentucky whete they didnt need titles. I used vincheck website and took it to sherriffs department both came up clean.....just would be nice to have a title proving its mine ..i do have a bill of sale
