Power at home, power at Grand Blanc office, but everything in between is out. Farmington Hills office has one bus down, half the staff is trying to figure out how to run extension cords to adjacent offices.

Storm woke me up last night around 3. wind bending over the small tree in my front yard. The stupid overly sensitive code alarm on my truck was going nuts. it must have been right on top of me because I heard the thunder as soon as I saw the lightening.

havent been out to asses damages because I just woke up

but I do have power

Never lost power, but had some nearby trees snapped and a lot of branches. Generator never turned on.

I work in Burton. We came in to find the roof trusses on one of our storage buildings ripped off and laying in the swamp behind the building.

Had a tree branch fall on the corner of my pole barn. It punched a fist sized hole through the roof, and broke the fascia board at the edge of the soffit, which in turn knocked some of the soffit out. The soffit and fascia board is an easy fix. The hole is a bit more, but I was thinking about putting in some skylights anyway, so maybe now is the time for that rather then dealing with the insurance company.

Anybody use these polycarbonate skylights before? How well do they let light through? Do they last a long time, or start to turn yellow and brittle?

Power down here in the Bloomfield Hills area. Went out in the middle of the night.
I have a generator sufficient to run the super important stuff (coffee maker, internet, well pump, etc), but not enough juice to run the A/C.

Hit Redford around 2:30am, some small branches down and the powers out. Tried going home on lunch and setting up the generator only to figure out the carb is gummed up.. O well something to do after work i guess..

Nothing here thank god I'm hung over as balls. I'm positive my head would explode today without A/C.

My dad's power is out in Royal Oak, his neighbor had a tree fall on their house and pretty sure that is what knocked his power out and not gonna be fixed til saturday or sunday.

I hear they don't hold up to tree limbs very well.
