Default Anybody receive some storm damage this morning?

Some of the cities around here got hammered. I have a ton of branches down in my backyard, but luckily my trees survived better than my neighbors.

Judging from all the service calls we're receiving, groveland township and royal oak both got hammered

I slept right thru it. I dont have power and people that live near me are commenting on how sever the storm was on the FaceBook. I hope I didnt just forget to pay the electric bill. Oh, and I had to drop a duece this morning bad. No water in the toilet, so my brown little buddy is still hanging around. I guess that counts as storm damage.

Lost a big tree, it snapped 8 feet up and cleared my fence and landed in my neighbor's yard.
It might have flattened their swing set.

Wow, crazy pictures.

My house is surrounded by large trees, there are probably 30 trees that could hit our house. Man those things were moving and alarge branch fell on the roof, but that was it.

No power at the house now.

No damage last night, but Sunday afternoon's hail storm did >$20k of damage to my house. $20k is my estimate, I'll receive the contractor's estimate tomorrow.

A few branches down and lawn stuff scattered everywhere but nothing more. I watched a neighbor pull a flower pot out of the lake about 4 houses down from where she lives. I hear generators running around us but we have power.

Put my tent up yesterday just in time for the hail.

Got up this morning, and it's still there.

No damage that I saw, but I really didn't get out and look before I left for work. But no power.

I woke up at about 4:45 a.m. to go running and could hear the thunder and the winds suddenly picked up and thought better of it and went back to bed.

We have a lot of very large trees but just had a few branches down when I got back up again about 90 minutes later - nothing major. It didn't even blow my daughters plastic blow-up pool off of the porch (which had no water or anything in it). When I drove to work there were quite a few large trees and branches down in our neighborhood (our neighbors on two sides each seemed to loose some) including some blocking the road. I was in no hurry so moved them back into peoples' yards when I could.

I was looking at the DTE Power Outage Map online and it looks like a large area of Birmingham directly to our east lost power, nearly all of Beverly Hills (which is about a mile south of us) is without power, and the areas in Bloomfield Township directly to our west are without power. We lucked out.

From what I have heard Chelsea has NOTHING open. The whole town is out of power. Ten miles north near Stockbridge, not much is out of the ordinary.
