Nope, I rode a bus which stopped at my neighbor's driveway. I had it easy in life.

Now.......... I could have answered your question a different way. Yes, that's why I'm tougher than you and can stand the winter weather instead of having to run south like a little baby.

No, my brother had the iceboat. I had a gokart that I used on the ice.

Yes, I ran like a baby so I don't have to wear shoes anymore and don't have to own jeans or pants anymore.

I wear shorts year round and don't shovel snow.

Call me a baby, but, I am on the water every weekend, even when you are getting your Nancy Kerrigan on in February.

Are you part of spraymasters waterski team?

It's challenging to race, it's challenging to do any yoga, pilates, work outs on it. It's also rather peaceful and I get to enjoy our beautiful summer we're having.

I think you're just crabby because I have something to float on that doesn't have a broken motor :p haha
I get that you are enjoying it!! And I am glad you are. everyone's hobbies are different, tons of people don't "get" mountain biking or better yet DH Mountain biking.....the paddle boards I just don't "get it" they have been on my parents lake for years and I have never understood it.....

We always knew that Jerry paid off the judges. Don't forget, the founder of SM was the president of SL the year they won nationals.
What year did you quit Silver Lake. Spraymasters beat SL in 2000/2001 I think. Have there even been state's since then?

SprayMasters has never been a great competitive team but the shows have always been entertaining.

Jerry paid off the judges lol.

The founder of SM should have stuck with the winner he was already a part of

I stopped skiing in 2000 or 2001, we won states my last year, as we did 9 out of the other 10 years I was a part of the team.

The shows are a lot less entertaining now then they were when I was a kid, I have gone back and watched a few of the SL shows and they do a nice job, but it seemed so much cooler when we were a part of the team

Oh, there's no doubt SL was a great team. You always won on showmanship and the KISS principal. We kept trying to out think it. (remember our 14' barefoot tower) I go watch the shows now and get all wrenched up when I see the flow going wrong or a bad boat pattern. They practice right in front of our house and the barefoot line starts about 50ft off my dock. So, it's still fun to watch.

Oh, and on a side note, I'm sure you were one of the young punks who I had to shoo away cuz you were hitting on my daughters.

I didn't have to hit on the ladies during show ski season, I had long hair, wakeboarded and barefoot, the girls thought I was pretty sweet....damn to be young again...

Good point. Michigan is a much nicer place now that he has moved south to hit on the 80 year old snow bunnies.
