I don't know who the dumbass is that told you that info but I would punch them in the face for spewing such ignorance.

For what it's worth, if you're referring to the truck in your avatar, it doesn't look that tall at all and you shouldn't have anything to worry about and wouldn't need a lame ass excuse.

I only know one thing, the question the OP posted is going to bring havoc on this thread. I don't pretend to know lift laws or how to break them. I just had to click and see how many people posted comments like this. I'm rolling already.

I heard if you register it as a boat, and have MC numbers on it you can drive through protected wetlands AND into the shore waters of pristine lakes.... but only if you have life jackets and a fire extinguisher.

just what I heard once....

To any dumbass that thinks I'm serious or advocating it...
No, not serious. Dumbass.

Just drive it without plates, it would probably be cheaper in the long run (including tickets for no plates).

Is he farming logs? Let me guess: He is digging them up after planting in his septic field, right? The lift light goes by 2 major points. Frame height, and headlight height. If you're junk is built halfway decent, you probably won't get messed with anyhow. If your junk is half assed, you will be pulled over, log plates or not. Just because you have Farm plates doesn't give you a pass to drive unsafe garbage on the street.

The cop could easily give him a ticket. If he is running log farm plates he is commercial which means he has to have DOT numbers which means he has to go through a DOT inspection and noone in there right mind is gonna let a truck as you descrobed past that inspection which means he was ileagal.
