Anybody know where some trails or a mud pit can be found in or close to Eaton County? Our most well known place got shut down.

Yes, the mounds :tonka: . . . not really close but probally the closest legal place. Or you could head the other way and hit up Whitehall.

Whitehall has some pretty cool trails, and there is always a mud pit to be found. If you ever decide to come this way, PM me, and I'll get some dudes together and we can wheel.

Never heard of Whitehall, but too far of a drive for me. I was thinking more like state trails or whatever not specifically hardcore 4x4 places such as the mounds just a place I could go with 1-2 ppl and not have to worry about the stock rigs.

It's ok. Most people haven't heard of Whitehall.:tonka:
I have no idea where Charlotte or Eaton County is, but best of luck.

Eton Rapids is right below Lansing. Whitehall is nice because if you can't do a hill climb or something you think is too tought there are other trails to go around it. It's good for stockers in most places.

Sounds pretty cool then. Will definitely have to go there in the future.

Whitehall is great because, like CMU said, you can go anywhere with a stocker, and a lot of the trails are only as hard as you make them. You can do a decent hill or obstacle, or you can go around it.

When you want to go out, shoot me a PM. It is easier to show you then to tell you. I got a couple of buddies that are always down to wheel, so if you want let us know.

I am not sure where Firetower Hill is, I might have wheeled it, but I have never heard an area called that. We usually go out sand road, the pipline, hyde park, man made lake, and a couple of other areas. I spoke with Trail Fanatic a couple of weeks ago and he said that there were some trails closing down, but none of the ones we wheel have yet.

Firetower Hill is up by mears and silver lake, no where near Whitehall.
