Default quad or side by side??

I am looking to pick up a utility vehicle to use around the property hunting and what not, and also to have a little fun with. I have found a nice 2011 Grizzly 700 EFI with itp wheels and 589 tires, only 30 hours and 200 miles that I can get for $6100. Quad has an extended warranty til 2015 as well. I've also looked at 06-08 700 Rhinos and Polaris rangers that range from $5500 - 8k. Opinions? Any difference in resale as I plan on only keeping it for 2-3 years?? Thanks

rear box on a side by side is better for hunting and property work. Ability to enclose the cab and add heat is great for hunting in bad weather.

Not as good for play in my opinion. The real question is wether or not you will have to fight over who drives.
I have buddies who converted to 2 quads over losing the drivers seat to their kids/wife.

Ive had quads for ever, and want a sidebyside just because it seems like u grow out of quads and into sideby sides. Theres more room to grow with the utility of a sbs. I think they aren't as fun to ride, but safer to drive if your drinking lol

For play I suggest a rzr but they won't be as good for utility purposes as a rhino or ranger. If you have a small trailer or don't need the box room id say go with a grizzly or rincon for best of both words

Thanks for the input. Originally I was leaning towards the quad, I have a dirtbike and figure that the wife can ride the quad if we want to go have fun together, and I can use it for doing stuff on the property. I definitely can see how having the bed space in the SBS could be extremely useful though.
