Default ATV Trail Changes being made on Fed Land in Mio

Feds have put up signs on Hughes Lake Rd near Pink Store in Mio.
No ORV's beyond this point. They also placed signs at the end of the lot down the road from Beechwood.

Not sure what the reasoning is. Locals are pretty pissed and so far we haven't heard any reasons for the closure.

Anyone have more info?

I think this has something to do with those trails being partially on private land and that the closures are part of a relocation of those trails...

Im gonna do some more checking to be sure.

I don't know the road numbers. It is not trails after all.

The feds are going thru and identifying the roads they own and shutting them down to ORV access. They claim this is for liability reasons, however, I know a few others would disagree.

I was hoping perhaps Jeramy Valley would clarify, I know he and my father spoke about this issue yesterday.
