Default Wanted: A Job in/near oakland/macomb counties

I've never done this stuff on here in my 3-4 years? nor on any of the other local forums, sorry if it comes off like being a bitch but networking is a great way to find a job..

So my run with delivering pizzas is finally over I think, I hope. They decided to take me off the schedule for the week so I think that means find a new job or something.

Ideally i'd like to find something that deals with working on cars/trucks, i'm very mechanically inclined, i'm not a bitch and ive done the motor and trans/tcase swaps a ton with hand tools.. i'm pretty good at troubleshooting problems now a days, I'm getting better with a welder but still not a pro.. i've used one maybe 6-7 times now? I'm really good with Jeeps pre 2001... XJ,MJ,YJ,CJ,WJ,KJ... also fairly familiar with mk3 Volkswagens, 1st gen Neons, Saturns', and some Ford's... Maybe a job at a junkyard disassembling vehicles, a dealership job (i used to work at Birmingham Chrysler some 9-10 years ago), or maybe even like something at S&G or autozone or any of those kinda stores... i've never done retail.

Other jobs that i'd be good at, Residential Carpentry/Demolition (did this from 2002-2008), I would enjoy working on an assembly line, or even in a factory/manufacturing plant dealing with CNC stuff..I'd consider installing car stereos as all my friends make me do their stereos' anyways, working in a kitchen, being someones bitch/assistant, even a salesman somewhere I have great people skills and can make anyone like me if I try. I may even consider doing some landscaping as I have 11 accounts on the side right now anyways.

Education level isnt what it should be but thats all any company cares about now a days, i've spent 3-4 years at OCC for Business, Business Management and Accounting courses, GPA was a 3.5, no degree though as i'm like 11 credits short of 2 different associates degrees.

Does anyone have any leads of any sort right now? I'd drive upwards of 30-40 mins from Troy if the job pays well, maybe further if its not a desk job.
Might even consider something in/near Grand Rapids depending on my end... clarifying that I have a place to stay.

I have reliable transportation and can pass a drug test any day of the week, I'm pretty active and still in shape, I dont really drink anymore and wont be a burden on anyones shoulder, I catch on quick and if the boss doesnt like me, just tell me to GTFO, I understand

If anyone is able to help me out, I would be forever grateful to you! If/when I see you again i'd buy drinks maybe even lunch/dinner or I could just paypal you something for being a kind and caring person.

X2. Well on the degree part anyway. Finish up yur education. Or get ASE certified, and get what ever other certifications you need to work on vehicals if that's the route you want to take . Heck take classes and learn to be a better welder, they make some bank. Bottom line finish / get more education ( not saying your stupid or anything), and more doors with better paying jobs will open for you.

There might be an opening at Dart Machinery in Troy in their shipping department. I can get you in contact with a friend of mine but its hard to refer someone I don't know.

It pays pretty well but they don't put up with bullshit so you have to be on time and a hard worker.

I can PM the details if you are interested, this goes for anyone on this site that might be interested but don't make me look stupid if you can't handle a mature position at a cool company.
