I've built two of these axles. MY current one has 6on5.5 lug pattern.

Disk brakes are an easy conversion on this axle. glws

p.s. can be cut down for equal length shafts.

3.73 and I have the original backing plates for drums and a set of caliper brackets that will go with it that make GM calipers a bolt on deal.

I figure it's because most people think the 1.5" 35 spline axles in the semi float platform is weak compared to this 30 spline full float. Big block and Hemi powered Mopars ran this type of axle from the factory........

what is the thickness on the tube? just curious...

if you remember, i was talking to you about this axle sometime over the winter. if i hadnt scrapped my 44 project, id be all over this. but i go to school full time, and dont plan to be around a garage for probably another 2 years. axle projects just arent in the cards right now. and when i have them sitting around, i feel obligated to buy parts for them. haha.

GLWS.

Yeah I remember PM'ing you about it.

This one is offset to the pass side. It makes narrowing it cost about half as much.

Do you have a decent source for shaft bearings and seals? That is all that is keeping me from pulling the trigger on this.

These are the bearings. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...1_7736%2C10081

I can't find a definitive part number for the seals. I had it book marked but deleted it after deciding not to use the axle. I'll try and pop the seal out of the housing and get a part number off of it today.
