What happens if you try to put this in the box of a short box F350. I have an extended cab and I think the box is 6 and a half foot.

Can you still fasten this down and every thing or is it not safe having it hang over that much.

i used to have a bigger (longer) one that i hauled on my short box. they fasten down in the same spots. it puts the center of gravity about 6-8 inches behind the wheel instead of over it.

I have ran a couple of the 8 footers in my short box. With my tailgate down it didn't extend past it. I never had any issues. If you haul a trailer just gotta watch the trailer jack and the camper clearance.



And another,



I towed my eb on my trailer and the camper to Attica, Drummond, Harrision, never had any issues.
