Dont Feed the Cyco
2003 Honda 400 ex **sold**
For sale is a 2003 Honda 400EX. This machine has low hours, somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 hours. I've always used the Honda GN4 oil, as recommended in the owners manual.
I have done some modifications to the ATV to help it perform better, and to make it a bit more exciting to ride. It will easily keep up with any of the newer 450cc "super quads" like the YFZ, KFX, and even the TRX450R. Some of the mods are as follows:
-Engine-kill tether (in case you accidentally "get off", it will shut the engine off so you don't have to chase the quad too far)
-Trailtech trail computer (Shows speed, time, mileage, hours of use, etc)
-Hot cams Stage 2 camshaft
-Wiseco 440 Big Bore Kit (true 11:1 compression ratio. Read: higher performance)
-White Brothers Power CDI ignition box
-Uni Air filter
-Yoshimura full exhaust system (header and silencer)
-Carb professionally jetted using wide band O2 sensor
-Newer Yellow plastics (real Honda parts, quad used to be red, but I like the yellow better)
-"Dragon" graphics kit with "Gripper" seat cover (holds your butt to the seat so you aren't sliding around unless you WANT to)
-Newer chain and sprockets (original sized rear, 14 tooth front for faster accel)
-Parking brake block off plate (saves about 2lbs of weight by eliminating the craptastic factory park-brake setup)
-Moose Racing Hand Guards
-Track Series Black nerf bars
-V-Pro front bumper
-Aluminum rear rack
-2.5 sets of tires;
-ITP Sand Star Paddles 20x11-9r on ITP rims (rears)
-Kenda Dune Runner 22x8-10 on Douglas Wheels (front)
-Ambush 20x10-9 on 9x8 wheels (rear)
-Ohtsu 101 22x7-10 on 10x5.5 wheels (front)
3.Old rear knobies
-Ohtsu 501 20x10-9 no rims (rears)
Paddles have about 10 hours or less on them.
Comes with 2 sets of loading ramps.
1. Tri fold Aluminum 45"x66" 1500# max
2. Aluminum set of 2-92" 750# max
- I have an extra clutch cable, oil filter, clutch lever, and an exhaust plug.
