Default Ford Fusion Fan controller question

I modified a Fusion cooling fan to fit inside my 71 bronco radiator shroud and need to wire it now. The module on the fan is 8g13-8c609-ab, is this a relay and how does it wire up? I have tried putting power through it and have not been successful yet. Was also wondering if it is a two speed setup?

I have powered the fan up directly and it works that way so I could use a relay and temp sensor but was wondering if this module would be of any benefit.

It is a two speed fan thu the relay. I use to wire them up to run off 12v directly to the fan. I could never get them to work thru the relay just by adding 12V.

Where I use to do this is at the Ford Wind Tunnels, where we ran tests for heating and cooling systems, we would wire the fan to run on high to get max cooling as fast as possible.

I will (sense I have access to the wireing diagrams now and didnt then) look up what I can and let you know about the relay. Some of the older stuff is pulled off my data base that I have access to cause everything I deal with is future products.

It's "made in France" and would make your bronco gay if you use it.

Go buy a fan controller from summit or jegs and wire it up.
Do you want that failing and have to find one in bfe?

This is what I have found, there is a negative and positive and a PWM wire, the PWM how the relay is controlling the fan from the body control module. If you wanted or are able to you could slowly add voltage to that PWM and see if it works. I dont think it will as there is a probally a wave pattern that it is looking for as well. I dont know if this will help but its all I could get.

I tried putting voltage to those prongs in different configurations and could not get it to work. I did order a derale relay kit so I guess I will wire that up directly.

FYI if you supply 12v on the PWM wire, it will be 100% off. PWM fans are variable speed, and are fail safe, 12v=off, 0v =Full on. There is a bit more too it but that's the basics.
