Exclamation SOLD NEW PRICE for sale, 1981 FSJ wagoneer 2 door $1900 SOLD

Sending out this post before I go and take pictures. It is a 2 door CLEAN body waggy. Only thing that needs work is the floor. I rented a compressor and sandblaster to blast the hat channel pieces after removing the rusted out floor. Sprayed self etching primer on the blasted area. Purchased the floor panes from Z&M, passenger side is almost done. This is too much of a project for me to finish with my bad back. Waggy is a 2 door, 6,258ci, T-177, NP-208, 4x4, with 3.31 ratio axles. Interior has been redone and looks great. Interior is out as is all the glass, head liner is the non covered type, almost seems like it is a plastic one but Im sure it is original. Have two types of side glass, the vent window type or solid. I went all the way around this body with a magnet and could not find a spot where it would not stick. there were some small holes at the base of the "C" pillars, or rear legs of the top that need attention and one spot at the top of the "A" pillar on the drivers side. All spots were sandblasted and are ready for repair. If your interested in a 2door wide track waggy, I dont think a cleaner one can be found in MI for this price.

Is the whole front clip missing. Is it still needing the interior and windows installed?

Wow, I can't believe I missed that. The front clip comes with it, the front floors are in it and painted. All glass comes with it except for the windshield.

Still for sale. If you know what your doing, I think this could be cruising down the road in a few weekends of wrenching. I'm getting ready to start on putting it together, the price will be going up as I put things in place.

It would depend on what you would want to do with it. My plans were to paint it a lighter tan color with black around the windows. I have the vented windows for the side that are tinted very dark. Also have new carpet and a new stripe decal from BJ's. I had a certain look I was going for. If someone wanted to just drive it as a dd, put it together and drive.

These things are just too cool. I always wanted one, that's why I bought it. but I have another project calling me. I am at the point that I don't think I can do both so I chose to sell this one. Some have met me and know I love diesels, my plan was to go with a 4bt and a ZF 5 speed.

I know a new windshield has to be purchased but there is a new windshield rubber that comes with the jeep. Other than changing all the fluids which is what I would do, I cant think of anything else that has to be bought. So it all comes down to what the new owner would want with the exterior.

If all you would really need to do is throw it together and change out the fluids then I am shocked no one has brought this.

I would love to take a look at it. I want a FSJ again, badly I just need to sell my CJ but No one has even expressed interest in it when I had it listed.

I remember the fuel line will need to be repaired, it was cut in half when the floor was cut out. PO said he drove this into his mothers garage about 12 or 13 years ago to work on it. Time started to pass, he found a girl friend, they got busy, then got married, then started a family, then Mom told him she wanted her garage back. That's when I got it, about 2+ years ago. Then I got busy, collecting projects, then moving to Howell from Farmington Hills, now it is time to pass the torch. I have much more into it than I am asking.
