FOR SALE/trade for truck: 2000 XJ W/4.5" Lift & 33's price drop... $5000
Thinkin about sellin or tradin my Cherokee ---depending on whats out there--- it's paid for, theres nothing major wrong with it, it gets a shit load of good looks and i love the damn thing but im getting tired of not bring able to have fun with it and would like to get someone to buy it that would.
I bought this off of 'blackjeep' on here, the FS Thread from when i got it can be seen
When i bought it off him, it was in a bit of a shitty condition, the flywheel was cracked in half, it needed the rear axle retaining bolt put back in and the springs straightened out. I have fixed all of those issues obviously..
Its a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with 136457 miles on her and it changes daily as its my DD!
it has the AW4 auto and an 231 in it with 2wd/4wd options, not the all time 4wd BS. I have always ran Mobil 1/Amsoil in it since ive owned it, it has full synthetic in everything. Royal Purple in the Power Steering and Transfercase, Regular Dex/MercIII in the Transmission though, and it has Amsoil in the diffs.. I was told from the P.O. that he only ran full synthetics in it as well, so it is and has been taken care of!

Painted the front and rear bumpers Black to match the side rails, it looks better than it did but they still arent sweet bumpers with tow points and light bars and winch mounts, maybe soon they'll have those!
Gas door diamond plate cover
Painted the Diff Covers

Inifinity Reference 6 1/2" Speakers in the door/soundbar with crossovers and tweeters

4 channel sony amp could be included
Spare hood for the winter with no hood vents could be included
Re-did the wiring for the drivers door, all the wiring inside the door were grounding out, so i popped everything out and saw alot of bare wiring.. fixed now.
front windows are tinted at 20%
I HAVE NEVER TAKEN THIS JEEP OFF ROAD BESIDES THE CONSTRUCTION JOB SITES THAT I GO TO AND THE DIRT ROAD A BLOCK OVER. Thus is the reason im gonna try to sell it, i figure it should be owned by someone who can truly enjoy it
The not so good...
Very light rust in some of the bedlined parts, will try to get around to re-doing the trim parts this weekend or next.
Rear wiper motor is shot, i pulled the wiper and never used it anyways. will try to find one to get this fixed
The rear hatch opens when it wants to. 3 of my friends who have XJ's have this same problem and my co-worker has never had his hatch open, So i dont know WTF is going on there? and when it does it again it will be fixed!
THIS AD IS NOT COMPLETE AND I WILL HAVE IT DONE LATER ON TODAY SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE TO ANYONE!!!
looking to get $5,000 for it cash -----price drop 8/3
The trades I am definitely interested are as follows...
chevy or ford 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton trucks, with extended cabs and 4x4...the less beat on the better off i will feel about trading...
Please remember i do not need to sell this Jeep and WILL NOT give it away to anyone i think wont take care of it.
I will however entertain all offers and will take a trade and cash if you have a cheaper bike/automobile and cash and want the jeep
If you'd like to take it out and test drive it, feel free as im not a dick so i wont hold 6k cash for you to test ride it, however i will hold your keys till you get back.

The rear hatch is a easy fix, pop off the big plastic piece on the hatch itself, and there is a tensioner piece that you tighten up a bit, i did it a while ago so i cant tell you step by step, but its very easy. I had the same problem and tightened the slack out of the piece and it works every time now.
free bump, nice jeep!

Heres the link to do it, and a free bump...
basically just pop the green plastic piece (like on the door lock arms) and screw it up a few turns and your all set
