Default Dana 44 on xj help

So my father in law has a scout II with dana 44's front and back. Is is possible to fit them on my 98 xj? It looks like the front diff is on the wrong side. Can the front axle be flipped so the diff is on the correct side? Would love to put some d44's on the jeep instead of rebuilding my d30.

no, you cannot "flip" the front diff.

even if you flipped the Cs around to properly mount the knuckles, the gears would turn the wrong way.
