Lifted Navigator FS/FT
Sold! sold! Sold! Traded! thanks all! Hey all! Wanting to sell or trade my 1998 Lifted Navigator with a solid axle swap. Here's the deal: I bought it on eBay a few months ago, and upon receiving it, it was not as described. I haven't done any work to it, but will describe it to the best of my ability and honesty (unlike the guy who I bought it from).
1998 Lincoln Navigator
5.4L 32 valve v8 305 HP
New plugs, new coil packs runs great.
Stock trans, shifts as it should
Stock transfer case, works as it should 4x4 works
39.5/13.5 17inch Iroks Some weather checking, good for trail, local roads, would skip the highway on these
Needs exhaust from cat back
Leather interior, needs a good cleaning but all there, small tear in front seat
3rd row seat (take the whole family)
p/o converted to push button start (dunno why), still needs key to run
Dont know if A/C works or not.
Power windows/locks. I do not have door key.
Has been converted to solid axles front and rear. 1979 Bronco axles, 9 inch rear, and Dana 44 front. Assuming stock gears, I do not know if posi or any other type of lsd. Front axle has new upper/lower ball joints and new tie rod ends.
Was sold to me as a DD/finished project that anyone can enjoy. Hah. Here is the honest description:
The rear suspension has the Bronco leafs, but mounted solidly without shackles. No movement. Rear driveshaft is too long, almost bottomed out, but thats okay, the rear suspension doesn't move!
The front suspension has the Bronco spring buckets attached to the frame, skyjacker shocks, 1 new, (which are too long, not allowing much travel). His homemade track bar is too long, moving the axle about 2 inches to the passenger side, bending the springs and making this thing unsafe until fixed properly. The draglink is f'ed up, bent all over the place, with 2 stupid stabilizer shocks that are useless until more is straightened up on this rig. I does have a newer steering pump and supposedly new box, with a mild drop arm, could probably use a bigger drop arm.
He had a huge rock crawler style push bar on it, but cut it off before he sold it, leaving the two large metal extensions protruding through the front bumper cover.
So there it is, described to the best of my knowledge, and a hell of a lot more honest than the jack hole I bought it from. I bought it to wheel with my family at the Dunes, but I don't have the resources to properly fix it (i.e. lift, welder, talent).. Looking to sell/trade for something that I can fix or use. I like weird crap, but will consider anything with an engine.
Asking $4K.. will consider any offer, within reason. I listed it on Craigslist, and my add got hacked (by the dickweed I bought it from because eBay nuked his account after I reported him).. so no, its not available for $500.00
Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or text/call me on my cell at 313 two 6 eight 3 six eight six
More pics available on request. Will take pics of whatever you want. Thanks all!
