It was installed from the guy I bought it from.

I only use the internet on this computer at work, $150 was a decent deal I thought.

Did you just do a update or something that would cause the driver to be replaced with a newer one?
Call tech and have them walk you through installing a new audio driver.

Or you can look for new updates audio driver wise there might be a issue with the driver itself patch wise.

Or you could simply restore the laptop to your last update. Just back up your junk first.

It was like that when I bought it used.


I have downloaded the drivers but in the control panel it says no audio device installed. Does that mean drivers or sound card?

I could try rebooting it, there is nothing to save on it as I only use it for internet to kill time at work when I have nothing to do.
