So yesterday on my trip to Gotham City...

I saw the Batmobile.

OK, so I wasn't in Gotham City, I was actually walking into Birmingham and saw this driving along Maple. After I came out of the bagel store, I saw it coming around a corner again.

Anybody have any information on this? This looked to be pretty well constructed and not just something some redneck slapped together over the frame of a 72 Bonneville. I'm usually not all that interested in stuff like this, but this one really caught my attention.

Yeah there is a guy in that area that is a big batman collector. There was a reality show on TV lost year that dealt with Hollywood collections that were being put up for auction. They visited the guys house that was getting rid of his authentic Batman stuff from the movies. He had built a replica Batmobile.

Thank God someone else saw this. I thought I was losing it.

It passed me on Maple over in WB yesterday too.

That was the first thing I said when I got back to the wife. "I just got passed by the Batmobile. I'm not sure what to think about that."
