So he didn't kill a bear, and then he did kill a bear, so he's in trouble for killing two bears. That makes sense.

i enjoy teds music. i saw the wiplash bash every year except the last one.
i met him in my dads gunshop when i was very young.

i dont bow hunt cause i dont wanna wound animals, and not harvest them.
i understand the challenge of bow hunting. im not an anti hunter.
i saw many deer with arrows/holes in them limping around during rifle season.
it is often not a humane kill. it just seems like a waste to me. so i choose not to do it.

if you choose to bow hunt, please practice alot, and enjoy your hunt.

i am a rifle/shotgun hunter when i get the time to do it.
have not been hunting in a couple years. just cant get time off during the season.
when i lived in the u.p i never missed a day of hunting. i have harvested many deer.
every deer i have ever shot, dropped in its tracks, on the spot, not another step!
300 mag, 200gr sierra boat tails, dads hot handloads, drops em everytime!
if i dont have the shot, i dont take the shot.

hunting to me now is more about getting out of the city and enjoying the outdoors.
harvesting a deer is not that important to me anymore. i can get all the venison i want.

ted is a complete tool, great musician though.

I agree but fixed it. Rifles don't magically make you a good shot. .

No, I don't, but I would do some research on hunting laws in the state I would be hunting and be some details on laws and try to talk with some type of law enforcement.

The judge said he wasn't aware of the "sort of one-strike policy" either.

Sure you would. I'm sure you would stop in the local LEO office and ask them about every small detail that even a local judge didn't know about.

Wouldn't do any good anyway, It's suprising how little most LEO's know about the laws they are enforcing.

Does that mean they actually hunt bear in Alaska?

Because the "hunting" I've always seen on TV doesn't really seem true to the name. I'm not sure how they call send a pack of dogs into the woods to chase a bear up a tree then shooting it out of the tree can really be called "hunting".

I suppose at that rate going to the trout pond, where fish bite bare hooks, makes you a great fisherman...

and I suppose going after rabbits or pheasants or coons with a dog also can't really be called hunting

Thats not how they hunt most bear. I have seen dozens of bear kill videos, they do it by stalking or blind hunting. I have seen lots of bears ran by hounds but never one killed while treed. I agree with you on the hound hunting thing. I think hound hunters are the sorriest pack of inbred faggots. Period. The saddest thing I have ever seen was a lion hunted by hounds. They ran it until it holed up and a Guy shot it in the head with a 22 wmr.

I don't see a big deal here, or any reason to consider him a dumbass or anything of the likes. I would bet everyone here has broken laws that they don't know about.
