Had an awesome day at r&v Saturday

Ran hump trail for the first time
I've officially ran the whole park now
I'm thinking of doing an exo type cage instead of one that goes through the hard top now
This way I can protect the hard top as well as the windshield frame I've smacked them both too many times
Washed the jeep today for the first time since last fall probably

well upon further investigation the pinion nut must of loosened up because the bearing seemed fine and tightened right back up. i used some lock tight this time
pinion is undamaged tho with just a slight polish on the end of the the from contacting the locker
got it partially back together tonight ill finish it up tomorrow and get it ready for the dunes this weekend

Jeep took a beating last weekend at the dunes
Hopefully the check engine light goes away
Threw it on the lift yesterday and found a few issues
First was this

Luckily the inner shaft is unharmed
So I got the spare installed but found a bunch of water in the hub so that took longer to clean up
Might have a outer shaft coming tomorrow and I ordered another joint
Also @Jimmysjeep is gonna bring my some full circle clips so hopefully I don't have this problem again
Also found a tre that loosened up and was contributing to the death wobble
Exhaust also separated last weekend
At some point in the last few trips I managed to smash my oil pan
Also started in on the very broken center pin I've known about for a while
Bushings are also very worn
So new center pins, bushings and degree shims along with the tightened tre should fix my death wobble and make it drive like a dream again #fingerscrossed
Crunch time for badlands this weekend
I'm also picking up a tcase this week to build up

Add a couple of uncooperative u bolts and the 2 9/16s bolts to the list as well
I might buy a new muffler too since this one is junk
It's only money right

Buttoned it up today
I welded the exhaust together too and got rid of some clamps, that was nice.
And a new muffler
Thing handles like a sports car now!
Oh and the center pin that wasn't broke was on the end if it's life it had the staircase bends in it
Prety happy with it now
On a side note I should probably build a new front drive shaft this one is pretty whipped

Had a blast at the badlands
Had a early failure where a tab on the alternator wiring broke
But the spare I brought had the wiring on it
So a couple butt connectors later from generalyota and we were back on the trail
Post trip inspection I think I smashed the oil pan some more so that's probably next on the list to fix
Also found this
