Steel seal

http://secure.steelseal.com/index.php/t8

I've got a blown head gasket on my 2000 Cherokee. I need a temporary solution until I can get it in to the dealership for trade-in...

Does anyone have experience with using this product? Good/bad? For $89 if I can get my engine to not overheat for a week I'll be in good shape and problem free once it's gone.

Thanks,
Jason

I've used it. It sealed a BMW, not a Cadillac. It won't work on a car that is wasted, the gasket has to have some parts if it still in place. Just a run hot with a slow leak. You have to follow directions perfectly. Use two bottles. It is way better than bars leak or any of that goopy stuff.

Could I get away with using the large bottle 32oz instead? My XJ is in great shape aside from this recent over-heating issue. It drives fine still, no issues performance-wise. I also put a new radiator last October..Does Steel Seal cause any clogging problems since it stays in the system permanentely?
