Default Removing box sides

I have a 95 ford I am looking to remove my box and just have the box side for my mud truck. Do I have to drill out all the spot welds or can I use a saws all? How hard is it?

If you just want skins hanging from supports, get a Blair spotweld cutter, center punch every spotweld, and use a good electric drill with the cutter to remove the welds. Predriiling every hole with a small drill bit makes everything go super smooth. It is time consuming, but end result is much nicer than hacking with a sawzall.

cutting it down is easy. Getting a stucture in to rehold the sides up and not burn though the sides seems to always be the problem when Ive saw these done. I love the look though.
