Weak U-Joints on Late Model Ram PUs?

Over the past few weeks I've seen a lot of newer (06-08) half-ton 4x4 Ram pickups with dropped driveshafts at the axle. They all seem to have been quad cabs, but that's 80% of what's on the street anyway.

Any observations?

Happened on my wifes grandmas quad cab over the summer. Had to take the driveshaft in for yoke replacement, ujoint and balancing.
