Cheap car - 2001 Ford Taurus $900 *NOW WITH PICS*

Crappy cell phone pics at the bottom

Details:
2001 Ford Taurus SES
3.0L OHV
Column shift auto trans
125,000 miles
Power locks, windows, mirrors, drivers seat
CD player
Aftermarket remote start

Good:
Shit-ton of new parts, including struts and springs all around, new tires, new DPFE sensor, recent tune-up, new radiator, new alternator, new battery, new trans cooler lines, new AC compressor (AC recharged when done)
AC works awesome
Heat works awesome
The interior is in great shape
The car runs fantastic, and the trans still shifts great
Clean title, no accidents

Bad:
Driver's power mirror only goes up and down, not side to side. New mirror is $45 on ebay.
One of the trans cooler lines leaks. I've tried playing with it to see if it's an easy fix, but I don't have the time to dig into it. I've been keeping it filled with fluid and haven't had any problems.
Passenger side rear quarter panel has some rust-through around the wheel-well. It's the front half of the wheel-well, about 1" around the edge.
The hood has some paint flaking off, about 2" wide and about 8" long down the character line on the passenger side.

I got the car from my dad in January when he bought a new car. I was planning on DDing the Taurus and building up my SVT Focus as a track toy. I love driving the Focus though, and can't justify keeping insurance and plates on two cars, as well as having the storage space taken up. Dad drove the car from Livonia to Warren every day since 2002. When something was wrong with it, he took it to Livonia Car Care and got it fixed. I can show you all of the receipts from everything he has had done to the car, including every oil change and tire rotation. He wants the receipts back though, for some reason, so you can't keep those.

$900 Or best reasonable offer. No trades. Please PM me if you're interested so I get an email notification, because I'm working the ambulance 7 days a week and don't always get on here to check.

Just an FYI, you can set up the email notifications by subscribing to this thread as well.

My girlfriend sold a 2000ish taurus with 150k on it 2 years ago and got 1700 by putting it out by a busy road, hers was dinged up to shit. Mechanically was in good shape and ran strong.

Good luck with the sale.

Let's consider the car sold for now.

If something changes, I'll get back to those who PM'd me first, then it.

Thanks for the interest!
