The problem with that theory is if a non black guy sees the shirt pictured above he would probably just shake his head and walk away.

If a non white guy saw someone wearing the shirt you are suggesting it would probably lead to a lot of screaming and some sort of altercation like you see on Hardcore Pawn.

That's not racist...sad as it may be, that's just what I think would happen.

I don't know why I remember this, but this just came to mind when I posted that. When I was younger I was at the mall and in one of the clothing stores. It was cramped and I really wasn't paying attention and I stepped backwards onto a shoe that some girl black girl had taken off to try on another pair. I immediately said excuse me and apologized. No sooner did I get a word out of my mouth and the verbal tirade began. You would have swore I stepped on her baby... I just shrugged and walked away mid bitch out.

Out of curiosity, I went and read through some of the Trayvon facebook pages. Holy fucking ignorant shits batman!!!!!! Here is a little excerpt from one of the discussions.

"I like how white people r gettin so offended by this its hilarious to me really black ppl do needa stick together n u cant tell us we shudnt das trifline as fuhk das how white ppl get shot real talk not trynna b rasict but id nevva wanna see yall go 2 africa wid dat b.a"

How do any of these people expect to be taken seriously when they can't even form a clear and concise statement? When I mean "these people" I am referring to all of the uneducated fucks out there.

Like I stated before, when I was considering joining a watch group, we were told we were not to approach or engage suspicious persons, only to get as good a description as possible.

I don’t think there are any special "rules" for neighborhood watches. They would operate under the same laws as any private citizen.
There’s no law against wearing hoodies.
There’s no law against being black in the mostly white area.
There’s no law against following someone you thing doesn’t belong where he is.
There’s no law against confronting said person.
There are laws against attacking someone. Whoever did that first if the guilty party here.
Zimmerman won the fight because he had the gun, and gets to tell his story. If Martin had won we’d be hearing his story.

All true. But, if the kid was walking down the street, he wasn't at a place where he didn't belong. Don't forget, he had family in the area. So, he DID belong. Z was advised to not follow. He did anyway.

I had heard that Z was in a gated community and should not have been there. He was cutting through the gated community to get where he was going. He was 250 miles from his home. He was with his dad someplace different than home.

With that said; No, it's not ok that someone was killed. It's never ok when some dies as a result of a crime like that; but Why is all holy hell is this such big freaking news; zimmerman isn't even white, he's like Hispanic at least; there, punch one. Two, facts my f**king ass, this wasn't just some random guy walking up to someone and shooting them without a cause; obviously something went down that was not of the legal nature, someone got pissed and someone decided to fix it their way. I don't care what actually happened, not even mentioning that "oh, look at that, it seems more and more like that black kid wasn't just your average Joe" well i will be dammed, there's a freaking surprise.

This is not news worthy, if it is then where are all the thousands of other people that have had loved ones and friends shot just because they were gay, or wore red on the blue side of the street, or all the rape victims...etc?

If they were both white/black/hispanic etc the tragedy would have gone no further than the local news. I am guessing Zimmerman regrets following the kid after he called 911. I have confronted people in suspicious situations and once it nearly became physical. Zimmerman had called 911 some 40 times in a 6 year period. I have read/heard nothing that would indicate he is a racist. It sickens me that high profile individuals and elected officials are making this a race issue and ignoring the known facts. It was reported that Spike Lee tweeted what he thought was Zimmerman's address but he got it wrong - yeah that really helps the situation!

Time to get more ammo and get some practice in.
