does your house have any unwanted guests? i.e mice or other pests? it may seems strange to think that is the cause but my moms cat who was only 6 randomly started pissing and shitting in places other then the litter box. took him to the vet said everything was fine. still was doing it even after. went in to the attic one day looking for something came across bunch of mice had made a home up there. apparently the cat didn't like it so much. called the vet and she confirmed sometimes animals will do strange things when they feel invaded upon by pests. This is only advice i can mention.

He is having squirrel problems, but they aren't new.

Haven't heard any squirrels since the dnr visited me last weekend, it Kodiak could be on to something?

Just thought about something too, I bought some workout equipment yesterday and the seller had a dog, I put all the weights in the basement by her crate. Can steel weights (its just bars and plates) carry enough scent to piss her off? Tonight's incident was the first in a month or two.

I think you may have found two different reasons. However, 10 is pretty old for a bigger Dog isn't it? Not Ancient, but somewhere like 50-60 our age? I'd get her Urinary track checked for an Infection by a second Vet. Not saying your Vet isn't good, but they can't be perfect all the time.

Either way, good luck. At least she doesn't have an ifinity to just peeing on your clothes. Our Chihuahua has been known to do that when he's mad or anxious about us leaving. Only to my clothes though.

If the vet says she's good to go, I'd start treating her like a puppy. Crate when in the house, outside on a leash, and when she pees/poops outside, give her a treat, and lots of verbal encouragement.

That's a great idea and it might work or being how old she is it may just piss her off even more.

Take your dog out to one of those dog parks and let her have fun. Let the girl whore around some.

There is a great Dog park off Joselyn, north of Walton. We have taken Leo there numerous times, pretty fun place.

Siberian husky? Simple global warming.

But in all seriousness im sure you know how much personality the breed has, maybe she's mad at you or maybe a new dog moved in the hood she doesn't like?

take this for what its worth, as I see old dogs they hit a point and start to digress. its like they start being puppy like in some of their actions. maybe she is just old enough that some of that is coming out? dunno. treat here like a puppy in training and see if it helps?

yetti I thought about the old dog thing, but she still runs around and acts like a puppy....entirely possible.

At this point I'm kinda leaning towards her being pissed about something, and just being a pain in the ass for sport.

Have her tested for UTI. (urinary Tract Infection)
Its pretty common in older dogs.
