Default what the hell is wrong with my dog?

She's recently decided going to the bathroom outside isn't cool anymore. Everytime I turn around (exaggeration) she's pissing in the house, every time I walk outside for longer than 30 minutes she shits.

She's 10.
she is currently crated overnight (crated as a puppy but wasn't necessary for the last 8-10 years.)
10x10 paved kennel with doghouse and bed while at work during the day.
free roam of the house anytime im home or awake, runs with me, gets a walk on days I don't run, is out in the yard running free anytime im outside.

Today she's been outside with me or in the kennel or riding in the truck with me from 8am-7pm. Has been in the house for the last hour+, I sit down on the couch, she walks over, and pisses, wtf?

Other days I'll come home from work and let her out pf the kennel, block the doorway and make her go do her business, she'll come inside and shit.

We've lived here for a year and a half so I'd doubt she's marking territory, so wtf gives? Im at my wits end and about to give her away.

Could she be sick? My dogs have gone twice in the house because they are both sick to their stomachs right now

I've pretty much ruled that out, her bowel movements are perfectly normal and it's more often pee than poo. Its like she's just an old crotchety bitch.

I would start with a trip to the vet for a check up.The only time that my dogs have shit or pissed in the house it was because I worked a 18-20 hr day,or they were sick.I have been told they do it to let you know somethings wrong with them, they are trying to get your attention.I dont know if I believe that, but I've had more then one person tell me that.

She's been to the vet since this has started vet shrugged it off since her stool was normal, suggested she wanted some attention.

She gets tons of exercise, gets walked, ran, tons of time out of the kennel, goes for car rides, mountain biking, etc.

Its not a daily thing, but its entirely unnecessary. Hell it isn't even weekly.

Have you changed her food lately? I would think something has changed that she was accustomed to.

Its completely random. Vet said health was good.

Nothing has changed in over a year tweak. Same food for the last decade.

What kind of dog? Honestly as dogs get older they can become senile just like us. 10 is pretty old for any dog

Siberian husky.

She still seems very very spry. I didn't really think old age would be the cause but its entirely possible.

Its either age, lack of attention (as the dog sees it) or the vet is wrong. I would first try a different vet.

Siberian Huskies are not territorial, they want to run alot and for long distances. In a house or a small kennel like a 10x10 the feel like they are imprisoned basically.

Yeah? Tell that to my dog who's marked her territory for years. As for the kennel she's been extremely content to sit in it for the last 10 years and often wants to go outside and be in her kennel rather than be inside. I leave the kennel door open when im outside and often find her in her kennel relaxing. Im pretty sure she doesn't feel imprisoned, she does the same with her open crate, always has.
