http://www.mtec.us/Services/Services/MTECRentals.html may end up being cheaper to pay someone with a bobcat or backhoe to do what you need done. i have rented from Mtec before and while the actual daily rental may be XXX.xx amount they make you pay a deposit which is usually 2 or 3 times the rental charge.

How big do you need? Home Despot rents those lil cute tracked jobbers for 120 or 140 / day.

I rented a bobcat for a week locally and overpaid - sunbelt rentals in Novi or Lansing usually has an excellent selection and the best prices. (though I have not looked at MTEC )

I've got a POS Case 580 CK that I could help you out with a project. All I want is fuel for the truck and backhoe.

I always found if you pay cash a guy who knows how to use a backhoe can do the job twice as fast as you and cost you roughly the same price as a rental.

I would second this. We have a Very skilled Backhoe operator at my workplace for the winter and he amazes me at how well he can make that thing work.
