245/45-17s, thinking I am gonna try 255/50-17s. The 245's are close to stock height overall of the GT cars but slightly wider.

You can see how bad my trunk lid is. Somebody at some point bondo'd it up and spray all kinds of expanding foam into it.

A result from the poor spoiler install job.

Here is a better pic to show the current stance. Was hoping to get to doing some floor work today but ended up having a customer drop off a cougar for R&R transmission. Fawking stupid having the gas tank below the driveshaft. It would go so much quicker and easier without having to deal with that.

Heres the pic.

I'll whip out my .02 also.

1/3rd of a coil out of the front and the stance would be perfect.

As far as a mod motor in it? Just don't do it. What an insane amount of work to make a less than spectacular motor fit. It weighs like a bb is bigger than a bb. It would be easier to do a 460.

I understand you want a cruiser with fi and not a steet monster. So......an injected 5.8 is nice but no roller cam. If it were me, I'd do a fox body 5.0 and put a little 331/347 stroker kit when doing the rebuild. Want to be different? Put a 3rd pedal in it with a t5.

I get frustrated working on a 302 between the shock towers of a 66 mustang. I couldn't imagine cramming in a mod motor and then having to work on it.

I like both color choices, but be carefull. A torino is a big car with alot of long panels. Anything other than perfect body work will look terrible with both of those colors.

My Torino has a bb in it and headers are a pita to install. It's even tough to remove the valve covers when I need to adjust the valves.
