Blazer Build... Done!

Just got done with the build a couple a months ago, so i figured i'd post up some pics and see what yall've gotta say.
2 blazers turnt into one! My father and I did the whole restoration ourselves - only thing it had to leave the barn for was for exhaust and mounting/balancing tires ofcourse. Put a new floor in it front and back, new bedsides(yeah... a bitch to blend), sandblasted the frame... ya da da da da theres always more to do than say ya know how that goes! lol I wish i would have kept better track of the build and took more pictures but hey oh well... i will on the next one...Its mostly a road and silver lake truck.
Some Specs:
stock axles...
6 inch all suspension
35 KM2's
stock rims
pretty cool sound system
Hope ya enjoy
onto the pictures!

without the top... or gas door lol

Up at the top of test

And my favorite... me and my old man:p

Thanks!

That looks great, how about some motor specs. Good to see you get along well with your old man, great project to do together

Yeah unfortunately the motor is an old and tired sb 350... once that goes we may opt to a salvaged 5.3 from a newer chevy truck or suburban because you can pick them up cheap and they'll give ya some go!
Here are some pictures that i took during the tear down... They suck because they're on my old phone... sorry:

From the back looking forward

Did this to spray undercoating on the bottom of the cab

annnd some paint

During the stage just after paint

Only thing i wish we did different was do an older year so that the top would come all of the way off... the rust would have probably been the same lol
Also, like i mentioned in the first post, we did buy another old blazer for the dash, back window, and other accessories.

Sweet lookin rig!

Mine is still in progress. I kinda did the opposite of you, drivetrain performance first, soon the cosmetic stuff will come.

I love that truck. If I ever get rid of my YJ or don't build a Jeep my 1st choice is a K5.
