It was a really good time! Ron you did a good job with the challenge course. The rock crawl wasn't that bad for me (2.5" lift fully locked on 33's) until the last little wall. It had a nice drop at the end! I heard you'll have the full 17 acres to play with for next year?! The turnout was great! Many nice Jeeps were up there. Vendors were great. JRC was there had a nice talk with Al. I was parked by a Blue YJ jacked up with GM fullsize axles and a BB 454 who are you?? Trail ride on Sunday was nice. I think I was in the third group maybe?? Anyway, Ryan was our guide and it wasn't very organized but that was lack of not knowing he was going to be a guide until Sunday morning! But hey we off-road... we don't need organized trail runs! One got stuck in our group (lil stocker with a luggage hitch rack). Turning around a few times was kind of a bummer due to impassable trails and unmarked trails being to tight. Me and a jacked up yellow LJ ventured back into a trail to see if it was doable for the group. Locker(s) were deffiantly a must for it and a small lift. Let's say I'm going to have fun rubbing out all the scratches! All in all, I am glad I went. It was nice to meet new people, specially people on here. Everybody was real friendly. I can't wait to see what next year has to bring! Many thanks to you Ron for the work you did on the challenge course, and many thanks to you Megan for the hard work you put into this event!

I have a house in town on an acre with a nice size back yard! I think for next year, I will allow tow rigs to park in my backyard free of charge and possible free air if you choose to air down for the challenge course. Just wanna help anybody out if I can!

I want to say thanks to Ryan (gogolen), Ryan (kixx007) and Jeff (landj) for a last-minute save on Sunday. We way underestimated the number of people that were planning to stick around for the Sunday trail ride, and Ryan, Ryan and Jeff forgot to duck when I came looking for volunteers to take a group out. Meghan will have to give us the final head count, but almost 80 signed up for the ride, and we had 60+ people in the woods Sunday.

Many thanks to GLFWDA and its members for getting the required DNR permits for the trail ride. Most people don't know that a group of that size in the woods without a permit would be ticketed.

The irony is, at the last minute the DNR punted. They sent back a trimmed up trail map (mostly county seasonal roads) and did NOT issue a permit. I have not seen that before, and will be asking some questions the next time I meet with DNR.

The fam and I had a great time. It was great seeing a lot of folks I've met at other events, and meeting new people as well. The course Ron and crew set up was a lot of fun, thanks Ron. Trunk or treating was great, couldn't get over how many kids were there, definitely need to bring more candy next year. The trail ride was fun although I made a couple "wrong turns" oops, sorry guys. Wish there was more than a 3 mile loop for ORV routes in that area, the county roads were scenic though. The accomodations at River Walk were top notch, I've already reserved my room for next year. The wife had a ball at the spa. Overall two thumbs up for this event. Thanks Megan it turned out great.

I am planning on walking the rest of the land this week and planning a spring build on the trail. I would like to get a mile + trail. With many features in it for bigger rigs and by=passes for the smaller/

The girlfriend and I had a great time. As stated we needed more candy. Next year I'll bring spare parts (broke the front driveshaft and made a jump rope out of the rear one). Great job to everyone involved. Also thanks for setting up next years date already, I'll for sure have the time off for next year's event.
