Default 1963-67 Ford 2dr

Looking for a car to cruise in. Exhausted CL and ebay. Looking for something that needs more mechanical help then body work preferably. Specifically like a 63 or 66-67 fairlanes and 65-67 galaxie. Must be 2dr and Automatic. Haven't found any falcons I care for and mustangs are over priced. Looking in the 2-3K range.

Or maybe a point in the direction of where else to look online.

I tried to look at that tonight, been talking with them for 2 days now. Tonight didn't work out on their end. That one is on the top of my list to look at. It doesn't run either. I have a couple I want to go and look at off CL. That is the first one I want to look at. I have about ten more pics of it.

I hate CL sellers and buyers, but sellers specifically today, what a pita.

Why can't people just be up front when you ask them about cthe car for sale. Did they really think I wouldn't notice 50% of the frame MISSING! Nice 3 hr rd trip that could of been avoided with a little honesty.

Unforntantly out of my price range, all about making a lower offer then asking price but not an insulting offer. Maybe in a few weeks if its still available.

I drove 3 hrs to look at that galaxie for 15 seconds. They even sent me a pic of the underside trunk area but the photo was just narrow enough to not show the missing frame rails. I asked about the floor boards etc and was told you gotta see the car for myself.

Rear frame rails on old fords are cheap and easy to replace, and help you talk folks down quite a bit.

I can't wait till you see what $2500 would get you in a 66-67 Fairlane!

All of the frame was gone. Doubt there was any section strong enough to attach to. And the door tofender was crimp at the top touching and a 2" gap at the bottom. There's a fairlane in southbend I might look at this weekend.

Hoping for a return call, left voice mail. Contacted a seller on a 70 torino, waiting for a return call, and watching a 63 fairlane on ebay the next 26 hrs or so.

It's not a two door, but how about a Loaded 68 Lincoln with rear Suicide Doors. (has the factory 460 as well)

5 hrs in the truck and I came home with this.

1970 torino, 302 2 barrel auto. Pretty straight, needs sm sot on floor fixed and a new trunk lid and pretty much all of the interior. However he has two GT buckets and the rear seat at the upholstery finished and paid for I just have to get with him to pick them up.

Very nice find. I owned one of those as my first driver. same engine and everything. that was way back in `78 gave $100 for it.
