Looks sweet, might check this out spectator mode. Is there good access to spectator view points?

The best view is to be in a vehicle competing or spotting for a vehicle, you should join. If you are going as a spectator, every event has great spectating viewpoints. The only problem is there are so many great viewpoints to choose from. It's an awesome event, the only thing these guys love more than putting on a show, is winning! It's all about the bragging rights..... and the cash looks good to!

So, this thing is getting close and it appears to have a lot of $$ at stake. Can you guys enlighten a few of use who would like to know the rules, beyond what is stated in the flyer.....like:

How will your points work?
How will you determine the starting order and will it change per obstacle?
Cones or tape, whats the penalty for either? will you replace streched tape?
How much time between events to fix a broken rig?
Some put a broke rig at the end of the order (sometimes a advantage)
Do you really need a working winch?
Can you hook anywhere on your vehicle for the the tow test?
Does your spotter need to be in the vehicle for all events?

Just some questions that may matter, and would like to know before hand....thanks

Sorry Erin, shots at the bar will affect my spotting abilities and with all that cash on the line, need to be at my best. Thanks for the offer, it's always nice when bitches offer to buy me drinks, next time.

Yeap, the park is still open to truck quads bike etc etc while the event is going on. Only areas that get closed are the areas the comp is taking place. It would be a descent amount of walking if didnt have somthing to drive around out there.

Def worth camping out there as well. Thats norm just as much going on then as during the day

Good idea with gettin all the rule info out now, instead of drivers meeting friday

The only rules I can find are in post #24:
"Each event will be scored by time or distance. Penalties or DQs will be access by track officials."
The rest is requirements.

Dale, Wes, can you guys elaborate on these? Are there more, how much time per course? What determines a DQ?

5 more days

Wes, so noone is confused.....all 4 tires have to cross the finish line before time is called right? I've been to 1 event that only 1 tire had to cross and course was considered finished.....not a fan of that ruling.
