Default 02 Neon Idle question

I just picked up a 02 neon with 69k on it. When I pull up to a red light or stop sign the idle gets really ruff. I have done some looking online and here is what I have found.

It could either have to do with needing to have the trans CPU re-programmed or the timing belt jumped a tooth. It s not throwing any codes. I had that checked at auto zone and also did the key in the on-off-on-off- on position and it didn't show any codes. Some people are also saying something about the motor mounts.

Any help would be appreciated, also if anyone is a Dodge tech and could let me now what it would cost to have the trans reprogrammed.

my 04 runs good, but gets a little slow bumpy idle sometimes if you sit at a light for a while. mine has a brand new head, and timing belt.
it has not jumped a tooth. mine has 144k, so i thought it was just getting old. it has thrown no codes. it gets killer mpg's. rolls down the hiway very well for a car with so many miles.

its an interference engine. if it jumped a tooth, i dont think it would run?
if it did run, it would run real bad i bet. 4 bangers dont like being out of time.
normally you will know when it aint right.

you might be on to something with the tcm re-flash though.
