Default What tubing notchers are you using?

Well after building the cage for my last TJ, I'm done screwing around with my junky Eastwood notcher. Bought the Baileigh TN-250 notcher. I sure hope this thing is worth the coin. It will be nice to be able to make a notch in the radius of a bend. This would have come in handy making the front grill/winch gaurd for the TJ. Anyone else have this notcher? What do you think of it? Also looked at the Beast from JD2, but from the videos, it seems like it would be a hassle messing around with the clamps, and it only notches up to 50 or 55 degrees.

That looks like it'll do the trick - I've never tried one, I go in phases where I'm all notcher, then all chop saw notch, then all 4 1/2" grinder, then plasma cutter... just to keep it interesting.

I have been looking at the JD2 Notchmaster with the SWAG reach around arm. Figure $300 for the notcher after shipping and another $60 or so for the reach around arm, but it looks like it adds a bunch of capability.

Yeah having the ability to notch on the back side of your bend would be nice. Not that you would need to do it a lot, but that time that you really needed to do it, would be well worth it.

I just got mine today, and holly crap....this sombitch is heavy. Cant wait to get started on the cage now.
