Default Doubler fun (4l60 speedsensor queston)

This doubler shit is fun I went with a spacer to correct the tailshaft spacing.(http://offroaddesign.com/catalog/700r4spacer.htm) Now I need to put in a speed sensor, I found some info that says the vss needs to be between the trans and tcase. Anyone running a 4l60 on a doubler....How did you do it?

I'm not running a doubler but my speed sensor is on the output shaft of the T-case. I just got a SYE kit from Dale at Ironman Offroad. Its the JB conversion super short SYE kit. They are the only ones that I know of that make a SYE kit with the GM speed sensor in it. What t-cases are you running? What year is your truck?

X2, usually the vss is in the tcase tail shaft housing. If you are going 203/205 I would switch the 4L60E to non-electronic or replace it with a 700r4.

I'm running a LT1 with a 4l60 in a s10 chassis with four links and one tons. I issue I have is that I need a VSS to make the trans shift. If I run it after the tcases then the computer won't know that Im in low (or double low) so it won't shift out of frist gear. I need to get a Speed signal from the output of the trans to get the shift schedule to be correct. Are you running a 4L60 (or 4l80)? How does the trans act in low with the Vss being after the tcases?

Don't get rid of the 4l60e. Use this http://www.advanceadapters.com/products/pn-716073e/
