wheel base is up to you. i take it your truck is a ext cab as in your avatar? id leave the wheel base stock. (easy for using stock length driveshafts) as for your air shocks, are you just crawling or more? 2.0s are ok and will flex really good but cant hold a bunch of weight. id go with 2.5s

He said it was going to be a new tube frame. Therefore, there is no stock length. Anyway, if you are going to stick with the 38.5 boggers, which are about 36" tall, I'd shoot for 100-104" wheelbase. Maybe a tad shorter. However, if you plan on upgrading tires to the 39-40" range in the future, I'd go 106-110". I'm 104" and wish I was a little longer. If it's truly a tube frame, go with the 2.0" air shocks.

Anything will work for crawling if you tune them. I've run both sizes. If you plan on bombing trails, I'd go coil overs. No comparison in the comfort area, but a lot more scratch.

Ya its going to be a full tube cage and i saw the 2.0 hold 550lbs each and 2.5 are about 1200 lbs i think im gonna just go ahead and run the 2.5 spend the extra 400 a pair. When heim joint do u guys recommend its shouldnt way over 4k and just running a stock 350 on propane may get torque cam later ive been told 7/8 would be fine i have some 3/4 chromoly at the house could i use those all the way around or just for the top links and get 7/8 or 1 inch for bottom???

Do you plan on putting the drive train between the axles to drop your COG?
