Kickstand, If I ever have the opportunity to meet you, I would like to buy you a beer on behalf of the American People who agree 100% with what you are saying and making it a very CLEAR point.

You have made this post very interesting and to the point. The left is always looking for a quick way out of facts and reality's, but as soon as someone from the right stands up and speaks there mind, they are considered some crazy person and the left thinks its ok to bash them for having a opinion and or facts different then them.

By the way Obama Sucks Ass!

Not a problem, I stepped out to go to a meeting. But thank you for revealing that it takes 47 minutes for my impatience to get the best of me.

Now, I look forward to your reply regarding my outline, no matter how ridiculous it may seem ( meaning my outline, not your reply)

Nothing I said is rhetoric.

I do not Wicki anything, ever.

After reading more of your responses in this thread, I'm not sure it's worth the effort to provide direct evidence or links to facts to back up anything I say but I don't just repeat 'talking points'.

I find the left or liberal/progressive thought fascinating and depressing. Why people still hold out hope that socialism can still work after it's been shown over and over again that it can't is incredible.

Maybe later.

Not just obama but everyone around him. Do you have any idea of the way these people think?
Not just an opinion from a conservative, but the words, in context, that they have spoken. Their beliefs and plans of where they would like this country to go?

Like most traditional Dems, I don't think many of the obama supporters really understand. They are just so against the right they refuse to see.

You are guilty of doing this in a major percentage of your posts.

You're supporting Obama, 3 or 4 people have already agreed with me in stating this thread is about WHY YOU ARE supporting obama, and you continue to bring nothing. Not one thing. Except, I like him better than the other guys.

I've asked continually what he has done to earn your vote. You bring nothing.

Now you want to attack my credibility? I'm not the one who needs to bring it to this argument, I do NOT support him.
Respect is a two way street. Play nice and so will I.

I think that it is evident that this thread has gone from good potential to pretty much nothin' at all. It is a waste of time to look at the post of someone who'm we may have never met and assign a certain value to it, weather that value is high or low.

I understand, as I am sure that everybody does, that the original question asked was posed in a manner that, just reading the text may set the Dem's and Obama supporters on the defensive. If the scenario were switched and the current was a Republican, and had the same results as President Obama, and the same question were posed, then the right would get their trunks in a bunch too. I think that it is a little latent embarrassment that may fuel some of the "hotter" more defensive comments from those that have been rattled. These are also coming from an emotional place, a place that also house's personal values.

Objective answers to a question like what was posted in #1, are impossible, because the answers involve those emotions.

So if it helps the Dems to admit that maybe the results of said presidency didn't go the way expected, then that would be a progressive approach to the next time voting came around. Let it be said though, that never has realizing that one was wrong or made a wrong decision, and facing that truth has ever been considered spineless. It takes a monster set of balls to face the music.

That is something that Obama will never do. So here is to the Dem's that have the bigger set of balls than Obama and his administration. Hats off to the Dems that say "Well that sucked, now let me reconfigure my decision making paradigm and take another look at this.

This is all hypothetical, since I didn’t vote for him and an undecided on this year. Also, these aren’t necessarily my views, but are reasons I could see someone voting for Obama in 2008 and in 2012.:

1. I VOTED FOR BARRACK OBAMA IN 2008 BECAUSE: (please fill in blank)

a. reason #1 Under the Republican in office at the time, unemployment was climbing, it was time for change. http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000

b. reason #2 Under the Republican in office at the time we were in the midst of a recession, it was time for change. http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/moneym...ession-End.htm

c. reason #3 Under the Republican in office at the time, we were tied up in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan with no end in sight.

d. reason #4 I didn’t have health coverage, and Obama promised a program to help me get coverage.

e. reason #5 I didn’t like the tax cuts passed under the previous republican administration that gave the bigest tax cuts to those that made the most money.

2. I WILL VOTE FOR BARRACK OBAMA AGAIN IN 2012 BECAUSE: (please fill in blank)

a. reason #1 Unemployment is now falling under Obama.http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000

b. reason #2 The recession ended under Obama. http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/moneym...ession-End.htm

c. reason #3 Under Obama we are (mostly) out of Iraq, and I think he will get us out of Afghanistan.

d. reason #4 Under Obama’s program I believe I will get coverage health coverage.

e. reason #5 He says he will raise taxes on theose that make more than $1 million.
