Yep, I like to read the Bottom Dollar pm's......then I delete...and dont answer back most of the time ...they get the Idea

I Prefer to not deal with BOTTOM DOLLAR buyer's...as usually they will offer even less , once they actually come out....usually after stringing you along for several days while they borrow or scrap, or what ever it takes to come up with the cash ....

At least that has been my experiance

Choke on a bag of dicks.

If you're selling an item and can't take getting some harassment throughout the process, go throw it in a dumpster. If your price is fair, so be it. If your asking price is around or exceeds that of a new item, re-read the first sentence of this post.

Actually, it had nothing to do with him but it does appear as though it applies.

I was a buyer on a deal Sunday. I knew his asking price but asked him what he wanted anyway. He wouldn't say, instead he said make me an offer. So, I low balled him at 50% of his price. He said too low. I said well, you told me to make you an offer. I ended up buying at his original asking price but I would have paid him half if he would have taken it.

I don't think either one of us got pissed over the deal. Comes with the territory.

Its negotiating, I expect the, low ballers, bottom dollar people, and over pricers so none of it really bothers me.

I really hate haggling. If the listed price is fair, I will call the seller and buy it. Sometimes I'll offer a few bucks less, but if I feel the ad price is too high I won't waste my or the seller's time.

When people ask me what's my bottom dollar I just say what my asking price is, if they want.to make a fair offer then they should, if not move on and don't waste my time I don't run a flea market, and don't want to hagle over prices ... Shoot me an offer ill either accept it or say its too low

There's a member on here who usually responds to vehicles with a less than half cash offer. I see it enough to where I find it pretty amusing that nobody flames him for his insulting offers.

Exactly what the point was in the very first post. I have NEVER been unwilling to deal on my prices, often telling the person I would take less if I felt they were a good person, drove a long way to get it, or found that it would take some work to make it work exactly the way they wanted it to.
The point is, if you start the entire conversation out with "What's your bottom dollar?", "I have cash", my response to you will be "You see how much I am asking, if you'd like to offer me something other than that, feel free to do so" and "That's convenient, because cash is all I am willing to accept".

Nah, after we drove 5 hours to get the damn thing, he wouldn't take any less. I really can't complain though. It was a pretty good deal IMO.

I don't get pissed as the buyer or seller when faced with the annoyance of hoodrats, scammers, cash-money-bottom-dollar offers or the like. At times annoyed? Sure.

when selling I usually tell them that if they aren't willing to make a good faith offer via western union for something they haven't even seen, then why would I be willing to bare my bottom dollar price to someone I haven't even seen?

When I go to look at an item, I have already done my research, I have printed out ads. for similar products, new and used usually. I have cash in the bank, or on hand depending on transaction size. I expect the same when I'm selling something, but rarely get that same courtesy.

Anyway, after the BMW got totaled, I was looking for a new daily driver, and I did get a good chuckle at the expense of a couple of car dealers that would not budge one inch from their asking price, that then called me the week after I made my purchase to see if I was still in the market.

e.g. I can't believe I was even willing to make an offer on a used/certified car at Lasco, but I had - they wouldn't budge - they called me about 3 days after I presented my offer wondering if I was still interested. When I indicated that I took delivery literally 2 days after being at their lot, they ended the call with "fuck!"

When I'm selling something, say for 1000 dollars and I get a " I'll give you 700 CASH" I like to respond with, " Cash?!!?!? Opposed to Monopoly money?"

I have dealt with quite a few people on here and I am sure there are plenty that I have made bottom feeder offers to. I make offers on the phone though as it is a 3-4 hour drive to whereever on the other side of the state. I really am not into towing my trailer that far just to make an offer and have it refused. $100 or more in fuel later and I have nothing. On the other hand I have aloso made a few people pretty good deals. Offer away I can always say no. And around here cash is king.
