Sounds like that tech needs to learn to take care of his tools. I know my job is a little more safety critcal working on aircraft but if I leave a tool behind people can die. I wish all mechanics took the same care I have have to make sure sure the job is done right and not leave stuff behind

So the oil tech at a ford dealer uses his own tools? he just had the oil changed, not sure why this even came into the picture. this was 2 months ago, im sure its been replaced, that 15$ hit hopefully tought him not to leave his shit in someones car.
