CrazyGradys point is that, XJ, YJ, TJ, ZJ, etc all use parts that interchange with each other. None of the parts fit the JK. Nor would you be interested in buying my old parts for you YJ.

I guess what everyone is trying to point out is don't be so closed minded. No we might not have certain parts, but everyone has different ideas on how to build stuff. Some good some bad. I have got lots of ideas BS ing with fellow wheelers that don't even own jeeps

Ive been trying to Keep a thick skin through all of this , and WOW just forget it !! I will just forget I ever had a suggestion !! And as far as " my precious JK " or "the Grey pupon" comments you can ask anyone Ive wheeled with , and they will tell you I beat on my Precious JK just as much as any other Jeeper !! Just forgrt I mentioned anything !! This is a great and well rounded site , and to put in a JK forum would be selfish !!

How can't a title of your fs thread include the letters JK in the title to know your selling JK parts????? Common sense man. We I sell tj stuff I make sure the title says "tj" so people know what I'm selling.

It wasnt just for FS treads , it would have been a general thread so guys / gals with JK's could comunicate with each other about parts , builds , problems , and tech and whatever else !! I love this site and thats why I dont like going on other sites just so I can get info on JK's !! I thought adding a JK forum would bring more new Jeepers with JK's to this sight and they would feel welcome (My Bad) !! Wether you like it or not , they are the new Jeep , and they are everywhere and thats alot of $ for GL4X4 in dues , think about it , how often do you see parts , builds , or tech info on JK's ?? But like I said Just Forget It !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im sorry I even started this !!

Yup, I can say I have witnessed myself, Grady is not afraid of beating on his rig, no matter how much bling he's got.

Everybody can say what they want, but it's unarguably fact that Jeep is king, go to any off road event, or any of the MAJOR off road bulletin boards and it's extremely evident that Jeep is the main topic. Jeep is what was and is the majority of the usage on this web site even though we've tried to continue to be diverse and non-make/model specific.

That being said, I can understand the logic for havering a specific JK forum, seeing as it's the first in may years Jeeps has completely went out of the box on the 'short wheel base' vehicle and nothing is at all swappable or remotely close to the cj.yj.tj.

No offense to the OP, but I like what we are doing here, and so I'd like to see it stay as little vehicles specific as possible. We have great tech going on regardless, and great biulds, and great meets and greets and great events happening off the publicity of this site, I don't want to mess with that.

But, thanks for the suggestion Grady, don't take it personal aor get al bent about it. Just keep beating the snot out of your rig and enjoy this place.
